We’ll shuttle our gravel bikes to San Salvador, the quinoa capital of the Sacred Valley, seated at the foot of Pachatusan Mountain. From here we’ll enjoy an incredible day of gravel riding from San Salvador to Ollantaytambo. This full-day gravel tour features some short climbs and descents, but for the most part is flat and rolling.
We’ll conquer 84 km of beautiful dirt road with very limited paved connections along the course of our ride. Glorious views of the Cordillera Urubamba and scenic overlooks of the Urubamba River abound.
We’ll also pass through the charming farming communities of Paullo Grande and Huycho. We’ll rest in Urubamba for lunch, before pedaling the final leg to Ollantaytambo’s Inca Bridge.
